Exploring the mountainous region of Zagori in Greece!

Zagori (or Zagorochoria) is one of the most popular mountainous destinations of Greece. This area covers 989.796 km2 and its population is about 3,700 people, which equals a density of 4 inhabitants per square kilometer, compared to an average of 73.8 for Greece as a whole.

Or maybe try our hiking tour inside the world's deepest canyon: the Vikos Gorge in Zagori  with a length of 20 km (12 mi), walls that range from 120 to 490 m (400 to 1,600 feet) deep, and a width that ranges from a few meters at its narrowest part to 400 m (1,312 ft) at it widest, is listed by the Guinness Book of Records as the deepest canyon in the world in proportion to its width. The main part of the gorge stretches from the village of Vikos to Monodendri, and attains a depth of about 1,000 m (3,281 ft).
